The Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining voice, security and/or data cabling required for installation of AMS.Net projects.

Job Summary
Job requirements
- Works with Lead Installer on cabling projects so they will be completed on time and on budget
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with both internal and external customers and ensures their needs are met.
- Troubleshoots technical networks including voice, data, video and paging
- Completes personnel documents as necessary (time cards, expense reports, vacation requests, etc.).
- Works with Lead Installer and customers to resolve complex or sensitive problems and complaints.
- Follows all AMS.NET safety policies and procedures

Additional information
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Some college preferred
- 1-3 years experience in low voltage cabling
Certifications:
- Manufacturing certifications preferred
Special Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in confined spaces
